Launch of Hematology Level-1 Course

HORIBA India Technical Institute (HITI) in collaboration with Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) launched the Hematology Level-1 course in Delhi, in Feb 2020. This course covered a wide gamut of topics, ranging from basic hematology, understanding newer hematology parameters generated by modern hematology analysers, interpretation of analyser histograms and scattergrams, flags and alarms, etc. The course also covered basic patient handling soft skills. This course was offered to working Laboratory Technicians, Lab Managers, Phlebotomists, and students of DMLT courses.

This course was conducted by Dr Anita Singh, Senior Director, HSSC, Dr Ruzbeh Mowdawala, Head - DCA course at Sophia Cllege, Mumbai and Jaldeep Bhansali, Chief Executive and Management Consultant, AlphaaZen.
