This program is designed for Lab Managers, Quality Managers, practicing Pathologists and MD Pathology students.
In this three-day program, participants will receive distilled practical insights from three highly experienced and respected domain experts into the practical challenges faced in a biochemistry laboratory, and how to manage them.
Day 1: Dr Tester Ashavaid, Consultant Biochemist, Chief of Labs (Admin) and Director-Lab Research at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai will share her expertise about Challenges in Quality Control and External Quality Assurance in biochemistry, from a CAP (College of American Pathologists) accreditation perspective. Dr Ashavaid in one of the few CAP-certified quality assesor in India
Day 2: Dr Shanti Naidu, Consultant Clinical Biochemist and Head, Department of Laboratory Medicine, Hyderabad will share her experiences about interferences in a biochemistry laboratory, with primary emphasis on reagents and kits.
Day 3: Dr Parag Dharap, Practicing Pathologist at Dr Dharap's Diagnostic Centre, Mumbai will share his perspectives about the challenges of equipment selection in a biochemistry laboratory.
