- Tea & Biscuits (morning & evening, both days)
Are you adequately prepared for working in an advanced automated laboratory? If not, enroll for this intensive, two-day Workshop on Advanced Hematology Automation & Digital Morphology
As we are all aware, modern hematology labs depend heavily on automated analysers for performing CBCs and screening of patient samples. The primary aim of advanced analysers is to minimize manual intervention to only verification of morphological abnormalities in samples. This ensures optimum utilization of pathologist time for truly abnormal patient samples.
This two-day intensive hands-on workshop on advanced hematology automation and digital morphology provides insights and prepares pathology students for optimally understanding and utilizing state-of-the-art, modern hematology automation. This workshop will give participants deep insights into the various technologies employed in hematology analysers to analyse blood samples. This workshop would also provide a better understanding of the various parameter results, flags & alarms and graphics (histograms & scattergrams) which modern analysers churn out, and how to interpret them optimally. Additionally, this workshop also demonstrates how automated slide preparation & staining and digital morphology can be employed to maximally enhance the utilization of hematology analysers.
Last, but definitely not the least, you get to directly interact with our guest faculty, who would be some of the leading luminaries of this field, and learn from their experience and vision of the future.
What will you learn:
Day-1, Session-1: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm:
Cell counters is not only about counting…
