Basic Hematology Course in HORIBA India Techical Institute
Description

This course will deal with essentials of Hematology viz, Hemoglobin, Red cells, PCV, WBCs, platelets and indices. Each cell will be reviewed from birth to maturity and their functions and breakdown will also be studied. The CBC can also be done manually but today we have state-of-the-art 3 part, 5 part, and 6 part analyzers that can review each cell and sample in detail and the Technologist will able to tell whether report is normal or abnormal.

DMLT passed students and fresher technologists

Basic Hematology

After passing through this course the participant will have an in depth knowledge of each blood cell. He/she can review it under the microscope as well as be able to read the Histograms/scatter plots on the analyzers. This expertise will enable the medical technologist to intelligently talk with physician and patients if needed.
